Big blow to Virat Kohli

RCB batting star Virat Kohli was fined 50 percent of his matchfee for breaching IPL's Code of Conduct.

The former captain was penalised for his angry reaction towards umpires during RCB’s one run loss to Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens.

Kohli was upset with an umpire's decision on a high full toss by KKR's Harshit Rana.

After checking, the third umpire ruled it a legal delivery, leading to Kohli's dismissal.

Kohli had a heated discussion with the umpires before leaving the field.

The penalty for Virat Kohli comes shortly after RCB captain Faf du Plessis was fined Rs 12 lakh for an over-rate offence in the same match in Kolkata.

RCB are rooted to the bottom of the points table with just a win from 8 matches.
