Meet Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who treated CSK skipper MS Dhoni in Mumbai

In the opening match of the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni sustained a knee injury. Despite the setback, he persevered and led his team to victory in the season.

However, yesterday, he underwent surgery on his knee at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. The skilled surgeon responsible for the operation was none other than Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala.

Dinshaw Pardiwala is the esteemed physician who performed surgery on Rishabh Pant to address his ligament injury following a car accident.

Dr Dishaw is a member of BCCI's medical panel. He is the director of arthroscopy, sports orthopaedics and shoulder service and head, Centre for Sports Medicine.

With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, he is a seasoned professional in his field. His linguistic abilities are equally impressive, as he fluently speaks four languages: Hindi, English, Gujarati, and Marathi.

He works at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, India.

He is an active member of the Indian Arthroscopy Association, and Shoulder & Elbow Society of India. He received the ISAKOS John Joyce Award in 2009.

Dinshaw Pardiwala, a renowned sports medicine specialist, has had the privilege of treating numerous elite athletes. His impressive list of patients includes badminton player Parupalli Kashyap, boxers Akhil Kumar and Vikas Krishnan, wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt, badminton sensation P V Sindhu, and rugby captain Hrishi Pendse.

His operation fee is unknown. However, a Quora user wrote he spent Rs 4 lakh at the hospital for an ACL repair surgery conducted by Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala.
