The Indian team emerged victorious in the final against South Africa, clinching the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy. Throughout the tournament, the Indian team did not lose a single match.

This victory marks India's second win in the T20 World Cup. Prior to this, the team had clinched the title in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

After the victory, a member of the team management, Raghu, was in the spotlight. Raghu was seen celebrating with Team India during the celebrations.

Raghu specializes in throwdowns within the team. Raghu practices bowling during the practice sessions. He joined BCCI in 2008 and became a throwdown specialist for Team India until 2011.

Once upon a time, Raghav passed his days at the bus stand and cemetery.

Raghu hails from Kumta in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. His father, a school teacher, never fully understood his son's passion for cricket and desire to wear a blue jersey one day.

Despite his father's disapproval, he pursued his passion and attended trials in Hubli for the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).

The hand injury ended his cricket career. Later, he coached the Karnataka Ranji team. He even worked for the KSCA without pay.
