ODI World Cup winners who won Lok Sabha Elections

Yusuf Pathan, achieved a surprising victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election, representing TMC from the Baharampur constituency.

Yusuf Pathan is renowned for his cricket achievements, notably winning the ODI World Cup with the Indian team in 2011.

Gautam Gambhir, secured victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election while representing BJP from the East Delhi constituency.

 He was also part of the winning Indian squad in the 2011 ODI World Cup. 

Before joining KKR as their mentor for IPL 2024, Gautam Gambhir announced his withdrawal from politics.

Kirti Azad clinched victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, representing TMC from the Bardhaman-Durgapur constituency.

Previously, Kirti Azad won from the Darbhanga constituency in Bihar in 1999 as part of the BJP. 

He also had a successful cricket career, being a member of the 1983 ODI World Cup-winning India team.
