​One-season wonders of IPL

In 2011, Paul Valthaty caused quite a stir by scoring an impressive 463 runs. However, in the following season, he seemed to disappear into thin air.

Saurabh Tiwary lit up the 2010 IPL with 419 runs, but unfortunately, his performance dwindled in the following seasons.

Manpreet Gony started off strong in the purple cap race during the first season, landing himself in the 3rd spot. However, his performance took a nosedive after that, remaining disappointingly average.

Pradeep Sangwan made quite a racket in the first three seasons of the IPL, but unfortunately, his performance failed to hit the high notes thereafter.

Manvinder Bisla was a standout player for KKR from 2010 to 2013, but unfortunately, he fell off the radar after 2013 and failed to attract any buyers in 2015.

Swapnil Asnodkar was a shining star in the inaugural season of the IPL, but unfortunately, his success was short-lived.

In 2011, the stats were singing Rahul Sharma's praises, but alas, he lost his bowling mojo and no team showed interest in him after 2014.

Tirumalasetti Suman burst onto the scene with a bang during the first two seasons of the IPL, showcasing his talent and potential. However, his star quickly faded, and he found himself without any takers after 2013.

Kamran Khan burst onto the scene at just 19 years old, making his debut for the Royals in the inaugural season. He showed promise in the early years but no team showed interest in him after 2011.
