Virat Kohli to MS Dhoni: Check educational qualification of Indian cricketers

Rohit, the captain of the Indian cricket team, had to discontinue his studies after completing the 12th standard due to his early selection for international cricket.

KL Rahul

The Indian vice-captain attended the NITK English Medium School in Surathkal, Mangalore. Rahul got his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli

The former captain of the Indian cricket team, attended Vishal Bharti Public School in Delhi, where he studied until class 9. Subsequently, he pursued his education at Savior Convent School in Paschim Vihar until completing Class 12.

Suryakumar Yadav

SKY completed his schooling at Atomic Energy Central School, Mumbai. SKY holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com) from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science.

MS Dhoni

Dhoni completed his schooling at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Ranchi. MS Dhoni had secured 66 per cent marks in high school and 56 per cent marks in the intermediate examination.

Rishabh Pant

India’s keeper-batter, Rishabh Pant began his schooling at St. Gabriel’s Academy in Roorkee. The left-hander later went to Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University in New Delhi. 

Hardik Pandya

Hardik studied at the M.K. High School until 9th standard before dropping out to focus on his cricketing career.

Ravichandran Ashwin

Ashwin is a highly educated cricketer. He studied at the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and later at St. Bede’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School. Ashwin went to SSN College of Engineering and graduated with a B.Tech in Information Technology.

Yuzvendra Chahal

The leggie, known for his humorous side, attended the DAV Public School in Jind. Chahal subsequently went to Mahatma Gandhi College of Health Science in Haryana.

Sachin Tendulkar

Tendulkar started his career when he was 16 years old. Which is why, he could only study till class 12th from Shardashram Vidyamandir in Mumbai.
