What happened between KL Rahul and Sanjiv Goenka?

In the IPL 2024 season, on May 8th, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets, chasing down a target of 166 runs in just 58 balls. 

After the match, there was a video of Lucknow team owner Sanjeev Goenka visibly upset with team captain KL Rahul, which went viral and sparked criticism.

In the video, KL Rahul appeared to be helpless in front of Sanjeev. Even the commentators noted that such disagreements should ideally be resolved in the dressing room.

In response to the incident, the Lucknow team's assistant coach Lance Klusener has made a revelation.

He revealed that it was just a normal discussion between cricket enthusiasts and not a major issue.

'I see no problem in a robust discussion between two cricket lovers. For us, it is a storm in a tea cup. It's not a big thing for us,' LSG assistant coach Klusener said in the pre-match press conference on Monday.

The 64th match of the IPL 2024 will have Delhi Capitals facing Lucknow Super Giants at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 14th at 7:30 PM IST.
