Today we celebrate Shardul Thakur’s 32nd Birthday who is considered to be one of the star bowlers for the Indian cricket team.
Thakur is also known by nicknames like “Lord Shardul” and “Palghar Express.” And on his special day, we unfold some his best performances on the cricket field.

When India was playing against Australia at the Oval, Thakur smashed a commendable half century against Australia’s strong bowling attack.
Thakur’s fifty against Australia also scripted history as he became the third visiting batter after Legendary Australian cricketers, Sir Donald Bradman and Allan Border to record three Test half centuries at the Oval.
During the first innings of the fourth Test against England at the Oval in 2021 , Shardul also scored third fastest Test fifty as an Indian.
At the all time great Gabba Test, India defeated Australia which also marks a historic moment in the history of cricket. At the Test, Thakur outshines in both batting and bowling department as he smashed a half century and took seven wickets.
