Green stands out as the most expensive trade deal in IPL history after moving to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from Mumbai Indians(MI) for a massive sum of Rs 17.5 crore. Green was the costliest purchase for MI at Rs 17.5 crore in the previous auction.

Shardul Thakur (DC to KKR)
Released by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL Auction 2024, Shardul is expected to trigger bidding war between franchises on 19 December 2023. However, he is also in the list of being one of the most expensive trade deals. KKR traded Shardul from Delhi Capitals for Rs 10.5 crore before IPL 2023.
