iOS 18.1 Update: Apple introduces the long-awaited feature of call recording with iOS 18.1, now available for iPhone users.

Privacy Concerns Addressed: Unlike Android, Apple had previously avoided this feature due to privacy concerns, but it is now available for conversations, interviews, and personal calls.

Check for iOS Update: Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 18.1 or later. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to verify.

Enable Call Recording: Go to Settings > Apps > Phone and toggle on the Call Recording option to activate the feature.

Make or Receive a Call: Start a call as usual, whether outgoing or incoming.

Recording Indicator: During the call, a small waveform icon (sound wave) will appear in the top left corner of the screen.

Start Recording: Tap the waveform icon to begin recording. An automated voice will notify both parties that the call is being recorded.

Save and Stop Recording: The recording automatically saves to the Notes app when the call ends or when you manually stop it by tapping the red Stop Recording button.
