Here are five largest horse breeds in the world.

Shire: This breed from the United Kingdom holds the world records for the largest and tallest horse. Shires can grow as tall as 19 hands (76 inches or 6.33 feet) at the withers and can weigh between 850 and 1,100 kg.

Clydesdale: The Clydesdale is among the largest horse breeds, with adult males standing 17 to 19 hands tall (5.7 to 6.3 feet) and weighing between 771 and 998 kg.

Belgian Draft: This breed from Belgium are typically 16–17 hands (around 6 feet) tall, and can weigh between 1,800–2,400 lbs (820–1,000 kg).

Percheron: Percherons typically stand between 16 and 17 hands tall (64 to 68 inches, or 163 to 173 cm) and weigh between 1,900 and 2,100 pounds (860 to 950 kg).

Suffolk Punch: They generally stand between 16.1 and 17.2 hands high (approximately 1.64 to 1.75 meters) and typically weigh between 2,000 and 2,200 pounds (900 - 1000 kg).
