Elephants: They are highly social animals. When a member of their group dies, elephants have been observed displaying behaviors like touching the deceased with their trunks, or staying close to the body.

Crows: They form strong social bonds. When a member of their group dies, these birds may gather around the deceased, and exhibit behaviors indicating distress.

Dolphins: When a dolphin dies, other dolphins in the group may exhibit behaviors like carrying the body, staying with the deceased, and emitting distress calls.

Cats: They are known for their independent nature but can also grieve the loss of a companion. When a cat experiences the death of another cat or human, they may show behaviors like searching, or changes in eating habits.

Dog:  When a dog experiences the loss of a loved one, they may show signs of grief such as decreased appetite, lethargy, whining, or searching for the missing individual.
