Greater wax moth: It can hear sounds up to 300,000 Hz, which is 15 times higher than the highest pitched sounds humans can hear.

Barn owl: Barn owls have great ears that are very sensitive to frequencies of 5,000 Hz and higher.

Dolphins: Have a hearing range that extends from 20 Hz all the way to 150,000 Hz.

Dogs: Dogs detect frequencies as high as 47,000 to 65,000 Hz.

Cats: They can hear up to 70,000 Hertz.

Bats: Bats can hear sounds at much higher frequencies than humans, up to 200,000 Hz.

Elephants: These large creatures can hear low-frequency sounds (infrasound) over long distances.
