Some snakes are known for their immense size and strength. Here are the seven largest snakes in the world.

Green anaconda: The largest snake by weight, the green anaconda can grow up to 29 feet long and weigh up more than 550 pounds.

Reticulated python: Native to Southeast Asia, reticulated pythons are the world's longest snakes that can grow to over 32 feet long.

King cobra: This venomous snake can grow up to 18.7 feet long and is found in India and Southeast Asia. It preys on other snakes.

Burmese python: The average length of a Burmese python in the wild is 12 feet, but they can grow to be as long as 19 feet or even 23 feet long.

African rock python: Found in sub-Saharan Africa, this snake can grow up to 20 feet long.

Indian python: The Indian python, also known as the Indian rock python is capable of reaching lengths of up to 20 feet long and weigh up to 90 kilograms.

Black mamba: The average black mamba is 2–2.5 metres (6.6–8.2 feet) long. They can grow with a maximum length of 4.3 metres (14 feet).
