NASA shared this image of Cosmic Penguin on  July 12, 2024, to celebrate the second science anniversary of James Webb Space Telescope.

The Crab Nebula is a supernova remnant and pulsar wind nebula in the constellation of Taurus. It was captured by NASA's James Webb Telescope.

This image of Protostar L1527, at the centre of billowing clouds of cosmic gas and dust, is  captured by the James Webb Space Telescope.

In March 2024, the Webb Telescope release an image of NGC 604, a star-forming region within the Triangulum Galaxy. It is estimated to be around 3.5 million years old.

This view of young star cluster IC 348 was captured as part of Webb observations searching for tiny brown dwarfs.

Cassiopeia A is a supernova remnant in the constellation Cassiopeia and the brightest extrasolar radio source in the sky at frequencies above 1 GHz.

Webb celebrated its first year of science operations with this view of the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex. It is the closest star-forming region to Earth.
