Aye-aye: is a nocturnal lemur that inhabits Madagascar. It is unique in that it uses its long, thin middle finger to pluck insects from trees and engages in a unique form of foraging called percussion foraging.

Komodo dragons: Mostly found on the Indonesian islands of Rinca, Gili Motang, Komodo, and Flores, Komodo dragons are enormous reptiles.

Okapi: also known as the "African Unicorn," is a herbivorous mammal native to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Pangolins: are unusual mammals with keratin-based scales. They can ball up in defence against predators.

Platypus: an unusual mammal with webbed feet, a beaver-like tail, and a bill resembling a duck that is only found in Australia. It is known to produce venom.

Axolotls: are remarkable amphibians that possess the capacity to regenerate lost body parts. Owing to their external gills, they have an appearance akin to feathers.

Narwhals: are marine mammals that are often called the "unicorn of the sea" because of their long, spiral tusks on top of their heads.
