A close-up view of Saturn in black and white looking toward the sunlit side of the rings from about 19 degrees above the ringplane.

The Martian moon Phobos stands against the darkness of space. The moon is brownish-red and lumpy, pocketed with a number of craters of all sizes.

A young star-forming region is filled with wispy orange, red, and blue layers of gas and dust.

A globular cluster that looks like a very dense, ball-shaped collection of many shining stars in colors of white, yellow-orange, and blue.

The way these two galaxies are aligned make them look like a rose. A larger, spiral galaxy makes up the petals of the flower, while the smaller galaxy looks like the stem.

The Wide Field Camera 3 captured a stunning image of dwarf galaxy NGC 4214, revealing the intricate dance of stars and their evolution stages.

Deep orange clouds of gas and dust swirl diagonally across the image. At center, bright stars give the region a purple hue.

A thin, red ribbon of gas crosses diagonally over the scene. Details in the trail show dimension and twisting of the stream of matter.
