The name Vrindavan was given to this city because lots of Tulsi plants were found there, and Tulsi is called Vrinda, hence it was named Vrindavan. Means the forest of Vrinda (Tulsi).

Nidhivan: It is a sacred place in Vrindavan known for its mysterious stories of Lord Krishna's nightly pastimes. 

Imli Tala: It is a famous tree where it is believed that Radha and Krishna used to meet. This place is less crowded than other temples in Virndavan

Ranganji Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, a form of Lord Vishnu. It is a underground temple which is connected to other ancient temples.

 Sewa Kunj: It is a beautiful garden where Radha and Krishna are said to have spent time together. This place is closed for visitors after evening aarti is performed.

Bansiwat: It is a grove where it is believed that Lord Krishna played his divine flute. 

Radha Raman Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, and it is said that the deity self-manifested from a sacred Saligram stone.

Kesi Ghat: Historic bathing ghat on the Yamuna River associated with Lord Krishna defeating the demon Kesi.
