Rakhigarhi, a village in Haryana, holds ancient secrets dating back 8,000 years, awaiting discovery by archaeologists.

Researchers from Deccan College Pune and ASI unearth human remains, establishing the village's ancient roots.

Dr. Amarendra Nath's excavation in 1997 revealed evidence of the North Harappan culture, setting the stage for further exploration.

Professor Vasant Shinde's team conducted DNA tests, hinting at a culture spanning over 4,000 years during excavations from 2006 to 2013.

The third phase, led by ASI's Sanjay Kumar Manjul and Deccan College Pune's Prabhodh Shirwalkar, uncovers a culture dating back 7,000 to 8,000 years.

Shirwalkar unveils a bustling ancient settlement with elaborate houses, courtyards, and even multi-bedroom residences.

Treasures emerge from the depths, including utensils of various metals, intricate clay pots, and remnants of ancient attire.

This research reshapes history, emphasizing the remarkable advancements of ancient civilizations and paving the way for the preservation of Rakhigarhi's heritage in an upcoming museum project.
