Amazon Snake Cat: Is it real?

A photo of a cat, which is apparently called Serpens Catus or the 'Amazon Snake Cat' is getting viral on social media. 

On Twitter, a user claimed: "Serpens catus is the rarest species of feline on Earth"

The user claimed that these animals live in regions of the Amazon rainforest that are hard to reach, which is why these creatures are relatively poorly studied.

However, there is no evidence supporting the existence of a cat with such vibrant yellow and black body patterns. 

If you love looking up rare animals on the internet, do not be disappointed the Amazon Snake Cat was not real.
