King Cobras are among the most venomous snakes, known for their potent neurotoxic venom.
Their bite can deliver enough venom to kill large animals, including humans, within hours.
An elephant, however, is far larger than typical prey, making a single bite less immediately fatal.
For an elephant to die, the cobra would need to bite a vulnerable area like the trunk, where veins are closer to the surface.
The amount of venom delivered by the King Cobra in one bite could cause paralysis and eventually death in smaller animals.
In an elephant, the venom would take longer to affect the body, and immediate medical intervention could prevent death.
While rare, reports suggest King Cobra bites can be fatal to elephants if untreated, but it’s not common.
A King Cobra's venom is powerful, but it’s not always enough to instantly kill an elephant in a single bite.
