Deadliest place on Earth: Closer to the space station than ground

Pravrajya Suruchi

We are talking about Point Nemo, the most isolated location on Earth.

Surrounded by mysteries, Point Nemo has no humans or even animals in sight.

Point Nemo is located in the South Pacific Ocean, between New Zealand and Chile.

It is not an island or land but rather a part of the ocean, considered the furthest point from any land.

This location is approximately 2,688 kilometers away from the nearest land. It is also regarded as a highly inaccessible point in the ocean.

Interestingly, the International Space Station is only 415 kilometers away from this point, meaning it is closer to space than to the ground.

Chris Brown, a 62-year-old from North Yorkshire, and his 30-year-old son are the only known humans to have visited this location.

They arrived on March 20, making them the first visitors to this remote area.
