NASA has captured several images of Indian landscapes and rich natural culture from space, which will provide you an extraordinary view of the country.

1. India on Diwali night: One of most wonderful pictures of India, captured by NASA. It showcases the country illuminating with colorful lights on Diwali. The picture was captured on November 6, 2013.

2. Hugli River: The image was captured by NASA on March 29, 2000. The different shades of blue in the river mouth may be from different amounts of sediment (clearer water would be darker blue) or different water depths.

3. Lake Sambhar: It was captured on November 24, 2004. Lake Sambhar, based in Rajasthan, is the country's largest inland saltwater lake.

4. Indian territory: This beautiful picture of Indian territory, taken by NASA, shows the country surrounded by water bodies.

5. Palk strait: This picture is of Palk strait, between the Tamil Nadu state of India and the Jaffna District of Sri Lanka.
