Here is the list of most endangered species in the animal kingdom.

North Atlantic White Wales: They have been listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act since 1970. The latest preliminary estimate suggests there are fewer than 350 remaining.

African Forest Elephant: While the number of  African Forest Elephants left is uncertain, it reported the population of this species has fallen by more than 86% in 31 years.

Emperor Penguin: Climate change triggered melting of sea ice in Antarctica, affecting the lives of Penguins. This species is at the risk of extinction, as up to 80% of penguins are projected to be quasi-extinct by 2100.

Javan Rhinoceros: They are the most endangered species of the five rhino species, with only around 70 individuals that live only in Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia.

Cuban Crocodile: They are critically endangered on the IUCN Red List of threatened species. It is thought that there are around 3,000 purebred Cuban crocodiles in the wild.

Golden Lion Tamarin: An endangered species with about 2500 left in the wild.

Royal Bengal Tiger: The national animal of India is an endangered species majorly because of threats of poaching, urbanisation, habitat loss and global warming. Over the last 30 years, the world's tiger population has witnessed a 50% decline, with less than 4000 living in the world.

Yangtze Finless Porpoise: They are considered critically endangered and it is estimated that only about 1,000 remain.
