The Northern Bald Ibis, once believed to be extinct, has returned after nearly three centuries, i.e., 300 years.

Known for its unique appearance, the bird looks 'bald headed', with its body adorned with a beautiful pattern of colours.

The bird, that had disappeared 300 years ago, once traveled across continents.

The Northern Bald Ibis bird also held cultural significance in ancient times.

By the late 20th century, the bird had got confined to Morocco, a country in North Africa.

The reintroduction of dedicated conservation programs has brought the bird back after 300 years.

The conservation programs in Morocco led to a significant increased in the number of birds.
