Rani Durgavati to Rani Tarabai: Queens that bravely fought against Mughals

While there were several notable queens who opposed the Mughals, here are a few prominent examples:

Rani Durgavati (1524-1564) was the queen of Gondwana, a kingdom in central India. She is best known for her defense of the fort of Chauragarh against the Mughal emperor Akbar. She was killed in battle, but her courage and defiance inspired many others to resist the Mughals.

Chand Bibi (1550-1599) was the queen of Ahmednagar, a kingdom in western India. She was a skilled warrior and military leader, and she led her forces against the Mughals on several occasions. She was killed in battle, but her legacy is one of courage and determination.
