This Mughal emperor had married 20 times before turning 25

Mughal emperor Jahangir, whose birth name was Nur-ud-din Muhammad Salim, had a total of 20 marriages during his lifetime. 

As per Francisco Pelsaert's book 'Jahanigr's India', the Mughal emperor had 20 wives by the age of 25.

His most famous marriage was with Nur Jahan, who became one of the most powerful women in the Mughal Empire.

Jahangir's marriages were often strategic alliances to strengthen political ties and expand the empire's influence.

Mihr-un-nissa Begum, also known as Ladli Begum, was another wife of Jahangir and  was the mother of Shah Jahan.

Jahangir's wives played various roles in the Mughal court and had significant influence during his reign.

Jahangir's reign was marked by both prosperity and internal conflicts, including power struggles within the royal family.
