This Mughal general kidnapped emperor Jahangir

You have probably heard of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir.

He ruled as the fourth Mughal Emperor for 22 years, from 1605 until his death in 1627

But do you know that Jahangir was kidnapped once?

One of his generals, Mahabat Khan, kidnapped him.

Mahabat Khan not only imprisoned the king but also removed him from the throne and kept him to himself.

Begum Noorjahan's actions infuriated Mahabat Khan, so he took this action.

Mahabat had taken Jahangir's army after attacking it.

But Noorjahan eventually gave up in front of him.
