This Mughal king is known as the most unlucky: Here's why

Mahipal Chouhan

From Babur to Bahadur Shah Zafar, various Mughal rulers governed India.

Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last Mughal emperor, was known as the "unlucky king."

He himself often referred to his fate as unlucky.

Unlike previous Mughal emperors, no grand tomb was erected after his death.

Bahadur Shah Zafar led the 1857 rebellion against British rule.

The British arrested him to quell the uprising's momentum.

In September 1858, he was exiled to Rangoon, Burma.

Bahadur Shah Zafar passed away on November 7, 1862, surviving on a British pension. His grave remained undiscovered until 132 years later.
