The International Space Station (ISS) is a large spacecraft that orbits Earth and serves as a place for astronauts to stay.

But have you ever wondered what astronauts eat in the International Space System (ISS)?

Astronauts on the ISS eat a varied diet that includes three meals a day.

On the International Space Station, astronauts eat balanced meals, complete with fresh vegetables and fruits which are refrigerated and eatne quickly.

Meat and dairy products are protected from microbial spoilage through ionizing radiation.

Meals that are moderately moist typically have less water content and are usually made ready to eat right away.

Foods such as nuts and chocolate are also ready to eat.

Rehydratable foods are carefully dried to eliminate water, and when it’s ready to eat, it simply reintroduce water to restore its original state.
