Some Buddha statues are constructed to be incredibly large, with several of them ranking among the tallest statues in the world.
Spring Temple Buddha: Located in Henan Province, China, this statue depicts the Buddha (Vairocana) and is 128 metre (420 ft) tall.
Laykyun Sekkya: Located in Khatakan Taung, Myanmar, this statue depicts the Buddha (Gautama) and is 115.8 metre (380 ft) tall.
Ushiku Daibutsu: Located in Ushiku, Japan, this statue depicts the Buddha (Amitābha) and is 100 metre (330 ft) tall.
The Great Buddha of Thailand: This statue is 93 metre (305 ft) tall.
Leshan Giant Buddha: A cultural landmark in Leshan, China, it is one of the biggest Buddha statues in the world at 233 feet (71 m) high.
