2 Indian peacekeepers hurt in Israeli strike

Two United Nations peacekeepers were wounded on Saturday when an Israeli airstrike hit near their border post in southern Lebanon, a spokesman said.

BEIRUT: Two Indian soldiers with the United Nations peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon were wounded and their observation post damaged on Saturday by an Israeli air strike, a UN spokesman said.   
 
Milos Strugar, spokesman for the UNIFL force, said the two had been evacuated to hospital.
