Twenty-five Pakistani nationals were arrested by Indian coastal security agencies some time back after they ventured into Indian territory in the Arabian sea, Manish Lodhari, Secretary of National Fish Forum (Gujarat) said.

He said 19 of them were fishermen while six were civilians and all were kept in various jails in Saurashtra region.

They would be released tonight and would proceed to Wagah border from where they would be handed over to Pakistani authorities, he said. They are expected to reach Wagah border on May 31, he added.

"It is a part of exchange of fishermen, but till today we have not been informed whether Indian fishermen kept in Pakistani jails would be released," Lodhari said.

Over 500 fishermen have been kept in Pakistani jails, Lodhari said hoping some of them would be released as a part of exchanging fishermen.
