New Delhi: In another jolt to the stuttering peace process, India and Pakistan are back to tit-for-tat diplomacy.
This time around, Islamabad made the first move by charging Deepak Kaul, a mid-level Indian diplomat, of spying. Kaul has to leave Pakistan within 48 hours.
New Delhi reacted instantly and gave marching orders to Kaul’s counterpart in Delhi — Sayeed Mohamed Rafique Ahmed — who has been declared persona non grata and asked to leave by Monday.
