Television network Al-Jazeera has planned to broadcast a panel discussion with Michael Moore, Oliver Stone and director Alex Gibney.

Gibney's flick is being screened at the TriBeCa festival.

Network's chief political analyst, Marwan Bishara, will host the event on the roof at Hudson Terrace on May 4.

'Hudson Terrace owner Michael Sinensky was initially resistant to the idea and was concerned about anti-American sentiment being expressed. But he was assured by Al-Jazeera that it is not going to cross into that area and it will be about Hollywood's role in chronicling history,' reports New York Post.

"We don't want Hudson Terrace being used as a platform for certain extremist geo-political views. However, in the name of free speech, we'll roll the dice and open our doors," said Sinensky.

The show will be aired in September.
