A Russian man has been rescued from a bear's den who kept him as food for almost a month. Identified as Alexander, the man resembled a "mummy" when rescued by a group of hunters in Russia’s remote Tuva region.
The bear had reportedly broken the man’s spine and tossed him into the back of its cave in order to save him for a meal at a later date.
The dogs with a group of Russian hunters barked and refused to move on from a bear's den they passed in the forest, as reported by ladbible.com. Initially, the hunters thought the body had been mummified by the dry air but were stunned to discover that the man was still alive.
Various images and videos of Alexander are going viral on social media which shows how his face and body were encrusted with dried blood and dirt. As per reports, his body had started decomposing as wounds were open and he was in the same position for a month.
