Here's some good news for Harry Potter fans: JK Rowling may come up with another book on the boy wizard despite releasing the final installment of the series almost three years ago.

Rowling, who became one of the richest women in the world since her Potter novels became a phenomenon in 1997, released the final tome in a series of seven, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, in 2007, reports The Daily Express.

Rowling then insisted she was finished with Potter and his magical world.

However, during a special Easter reading of her work at the White House in Washington, DC on Monday, the author told the audience she would consider returning to the story "maybe 10 years from now".

She also revealed she's concentrating on new material at present, telling fans, "I'm quite sure in the not-too-distant future I will bring out another book."
