At least four people were injured in a shooting at a shopping mall in the Finnish city of Espoo on Thursday and police said there could be many casualties, the national broadcaster YLE said on its website.
There was no direct confirmation from police. The condition of the victims was not immediately known.
YLE said shots were fired at about 10:20 a.m. (0820 GMT) and parts of the mall were evacuated.
The newspaper Ilta-Sanomat said on its website at least seven shots were fired, but it gave no source for the information.
