LONDON: Elusive terrorist Osama bin Laden's son, Saad, is a key link between al-Qaeda and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Qods force which supports terrorism, a report claimed on Monday.
A letter thanking the Qods Force for supporting al-Qaeda operations in Yemen has been intercepted after passing through Saad bin Laden's office in Tehran, The Daily Telegraph reported.
The letter shows Iran played a role in assisting an attack on the US embassy in Yemen last September that killed 16, the report said quoting security analysts.
