Bullet-riddled bodies of 10 Taliban fighters found in Pakistan

The bodies of two militants were hanged from a roadside tree at Enayat Kale, seven kilometres from Khar, the main town of Bajaur Agency.

The bullet-riddled bodies of 10 suspected Taliban militants were found in Pakistan's Bajaur tribal region today, local tribesmen said.

Officials said, that both men were members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and were shot dead by unidentified persons. Eight more bodies were found in Damadola, three kilometres from Enayat Kale.

They were shot dead. Local residents said the bodies bore signs of torture. This is the second time that bodies of suspected militants have been found in Bajaur Agency, once a stronghold of the Taliban.

On Monday, 15 bullet-riddled bodies of suspected Taliban militants were found at different places in Bajaur Agency. Officials said they were killed in fighting that also claimed the life of a soldier.
