A part of the ceiling of the United Nations General Assembly's main plenary hall, where external affairs minister SM Krishna was scheduled to speak, collapsed today temporally disrupting the proceedings.

No one was injured in the incident.

The roof was soon repaired as the damage was minor in nature.

Sources said the proceedings started after a short interruption.

Krishna is now slated to address the session soon.
