Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reacted to Microsoft's Windows global outage after the tech giant’s cloud services faced major disruption affecting flight operations, banks, stock exchanges, payment systems, and even emergency services.
The billionaire reacted by making a comment to the post by the Financial Times regarding the tech giant’s major global outage. He replied to the post by saying ‘Biggest IT fail ever.’
He then followed up by writing the word Microsoft, followed by an angry emoji, and he reshared one of his posts from 2021. The post read "Macrohard > Microsoft."
A few years back, Elon Musk coined the word "Macrohard" to take a dig at Microsoft. In a post he made in 2021, he brought up this term to mockingly equate Microsoft with a fictitious company named 'Macrohard.'
Musk implied that Microsoft was underperforming, especially during a significant global outage that adversely affected many of Microsoft's cloud-based services and applications.
