At least 21 people were killed on Monday when a bus heading to Mexico City crashed into another vehicle and burst into flames, local media and authorities said.
A raging fire hampered rescue efforts after the pre-dawn accident in the central state of Queretaro, newspapers reported.
The Queretaro public security office confirmed there had been an accident but could not immediately confirm the number of fatalities or other details.
