Hungarian camerawoman trying to trip the running refugee

The camerawoman was at the Roeszke Refugee Camp in Hungary reporting the refugee crisis for the Hungarian broadcaster N1TV.

The camerawoman from Hungary who faced the ire of social media on Tuesday for kicking and tripping refugees including children has been fired from her job.

The incident came in notice after a video footage was released where the Hungarian camerawoman was seen intentionally kicking refugees, including a girl and then tripping a man holding a child in his arm who was running from the border police.

The camerawoman was at the Roeszke Refugee Camp in Hungary reporting the refugee crisis for the Hungarian broadcaster N1TV.

The TV station posted a statement on its website saying, "Today, a N1TV colleague behaved unacceptably at the Roeszke reception center. The cameraman's employment was terminated with immediate effect."

The social media outraged at the incident and strongly condemned the act. The journalist, László Petra, now even has a Facebook page on her name shaming her actions, the page is titled 'László Petra Szégyenfal' meaning  'László Petra Shame Wall'.

It would not be entirely incorrect to say that Hungary itself has taken somewhat of a same stance by metaphorically trying to kick out the refugees. Hungary, in response to the huge influx of refugees, has erected a barrier of rolls of razor wire along its entire 175-kilometre border with Serbia, which is also being closely watched and patrolled by border police with dogs.
