DUBAI: A court here has sentenced an Indian to 15 years' imprisonment for stabbing a compatriot to death.
The Dubai court of first instance charged the 30-year-old Indian electrician with the premeditated murder of a man at a labour camp here.
The accused was cutting onions in the kitchen when he picked up an argument with the victim.
The electrician stabbed the victim in his heart.
A watchman at the site notified the police, and a paramedic team tried to save the life of the victim, the Gulf News reported quoting court records.
