DUBAI: A Dubai court has sentenced an Indian man to life imprisonment for murdering his colleague by smashing his head twice with a rock.
The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld the lower verdict and ordered the 24-year-old Indian identified as P.S to spend 25 years in jail after he was found guilty of premeditated murder of his compatriot.
The lawyer of the accused in an earlier hearing had denied the charge that his client premeditatedly murdered the victim as he was "too drunk" to know what he was doing.
