During the two-day Indo-Pak interior secretary-level talks beginning from May 30 in Islamabad, Pakistan intends to place before the visiting Indian delegation documentary proof of the alleged involvement of the Indian consulates in Afghanistan in masterminding some deadly acts of terrorism on the Pakistani soil.
Heading a nine-member Indian delegation, Home Secretary V. K. Duggal reached Pakistan on Monday for talks with his Pakistani counterpart Syed Kamal Shah. The upcoming interior secretary-level talks are a part of ongoing peace process between the South Asian nuclear states.
During parleys, Interior Secretary Syed Kamal Shah will discuss various issues including terrorism, drug trafficking and exchange of prisoners with his Indian counterpart, V K Duggal. However, a senor foreign office official in Islamabad said on condition of anonymity that the focus of the deliberations would be on the increasing acts of terrorism in Balochistan and tribal belt of Waziristan.
