IOC to import 11 million tonnes of crude oil from Iraq in 2010

Indian Oil Corp chairman S Behuria said his company has a term contract to annually import up to 30 million tonnes of crude from various countries, including Iraq.


India's state-run Indian Oil Corp (IOC) will import 11 million tonnes, or 220,000 barrel per day, of crude oil from Iraq in 2010, its chairman, S Behuria, told reporters on Wednesday.  

He said his company has a term contract to annually import up to 30 million tonnes crude oil from various countries, including Iraq.
