A new book has blasted WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange as predatory, narcissistic, fantasist and a person unaware of any personal boundaries.
In her latest book, British journalist and writer Heather Brooke has penned down her experience and revealed how she got to know Asssange.
According to the Daily Mail, the author revealed how Assange saw an opportunity to make another female conquest, when she asked him for a private word to discuss her research.
Assange said he “could never understand how people could bear to live in London.” ‘All these houses, everyone on top of each other’, staring at me as he said this, pressing me against a brick wall, in full view of the city around us,” the author wrote. Brooke also described when she first met Assange at a conference in Norway last March. He was unashamedly high-minded about free speech and the people’s right to know.
“The UK is the worst liberal democracy in the world,” he announced. “It never went through a revolution so it’s still a feudal state. The laws were made for the benefit of the lords and aristocracy. Now they are for the benefit of the new lords, the political elite,” he said. Listening to him, she felt inspired, and grabbed him for an interview.
