Malaysia Airline flight MH198, from Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad had to make an emergency landing at Kuala Lumpur shortly after takeoff.
Initial reports suggest that the plane had to make emergency landing due to "burning fuel".
The plane circled back before landing in Malaysia at an airport north of the Kuala Lumpur Airport.
Incidently, online flight trackers show the flight arrival "on time"
According to BGR India, the IVR systems at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad suggests the plane is now expected at 1:30PM
This grim report comes at a time when the airline is already facing consumer trust issues following the recent tragedies including the missing plane MH370 as well as the another of its aircraft MH17 that was shot down over Ukraine. At least 298 people onboard MH17 were killed on July 17 after a missile reportedly brought down the plane as it was flying over war-torn eastern Ukraine.
